Blowing the bank on one or two items is not cheap or chic; it’s simply a bad move. As far as fake fur goes, there are such good options out there now—or go green and buy a vintage piece of fur. If you’re comfortable wearing the real thing, a vintage jacket or vest will be less than half the cost of a new garment, and you’re aiding in the

siren lips. Remember: A bad hairstyle can be brushed out or washed down the drain; horrid makeup can be taken off with a gentle cleanser and a good washcloth. But movie-star style does not happen by accident. Your hair and makeup may be trial and error now, but soon—with the help of history—your glamorous look will be tried and true.
