Heart City seemed like the perfect tourist location. Until your honeymoon ended in rabies laced tears. Now, your partner is gone, but fortunately for you, the local government isn't giving you time to greave. You're seized for experimental purposes, and vomited into a floating hospital where you meet your master, Dante.

In a massive walk-in freezer sparsely populated with corpses, your destiny comes together as your loyalty is bound to a charismatic wrench in the machine. After you stand idly by, not aiding him in his scientific endeavor to rid the world of a mad researcher, you both flee the scene. It's not long before you're both given carte blanche to explore this metropolis of bleeding hearts.

Of course, all is going reasonably well until the cops intervene.

that taciturn asshole up there,” Torque points to you, and loyally follows his condemning finger.  “Just don’t have any thoughts worth expressing, and everything will be right as rutabaga.”  You stop to look at Torque, leveling at him a look of glowering confusion. Torque inhales deeply, and exhales the longest sigh you’ve ever heard.  Legendary impatience.  “It’s the only thing here that could pass as my favorite food.  Now, I’m going to close my mouth, and walk in the direction that my eyes
